Colorado Public Employees' Retirement Association, Denver, is seeking an actuarial firm to perform annual pension fund and health-care fund valuations and related pension consulting services, said Katie Kaufmanis, spokeswoman for the $49 billion pension fund.
These services include the Dec. 31 annual actuarial valuation for funding purposes and the seven actuarial valuations for accounting and financial reporting purposes.
The RFP is available on Colorado PERA's website. Proposals are by noon MDT on Sept. 5. The board plans to hire an actuary by Nov. 1, possibly earlier.
