Mesa, Ariz., hired Nationwide Financial as record keeper of its $51 million 457 plan and $4 million 401(a) plan, city procurement specialist Evan Karl said in an email.
The city issued an RFP in March because the contract of current record keeper Empower Retirement is expiring on Oct. 31. Empower Retirement was a finalist along with Voya Financial.
