Fort Worth (Texas) Employees' Retirement Fund committed $25 million to real estate fund Ascentris Value Add Fund III, said Joelle Mevi, executive director and chief investment officer, in an email.
It is the $2.3 billion pension fund's first commitment to an Ascentris fund.
The commitment will fall under the pension fund's high-growth portfolio, which has a 22% target.
