Mikaylee O'Connor was named head of RVK's defined contribution solutions group, said Randy Borek, chief financial officer, in an email.
Ms. O'Connor, previously a consultant and principal at RVK, replaces Rob Palmeri, who is leaving Aug. 3 to oversee DC-related real estate strategies at UBS Realty. A UBS spokeswoman could not immediately be reached for further information.
Ms. O'Connor reports to CEO Rebecca Gratsinger.
"We have expanded our staff focused specifically on the defined contribution space and will continue to do so in the future," Ms. Gratsinger said in a Thursday news release. "All of the client segments RVK serves — corporate, public, educational, and non-profit — are increasing their reliance on defined contribution plans as a key part of their human resources and compensation strategies. We are investing in our defined contribution practice right alongside this trend."
Some of Ms. O'Connor's previous responsibilities will be assumed by existing staff members. She will retain responsibilities directly related to defined contribution leadership, research and execution, Mr. Borek wrote.
RVK has $2.17 trillion in assets under advisement.
