The Investment Company Institute on Tuesday announced new leadership for both the Asia-Pacific and the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin American segments of its ICI Global operations.
Alexa Lam, a veteran of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission serving as a professor of law at the University of Hong Kong, will become CEO, Asia-Pacific, for ICI Global effective Oct. 1, Washington-based ICI said in a news release.
Qiumei Yang, the organization's current CEO, will be leaving to join her family's business, the release said.
Patrice Berge-Vincent, who has served as managing director of Europe at ICI Global for the past three years, will be promoted to managing director, ICI Global, overseeing the organization's international program in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, effective Jan. 1.
He will replace Dan Waters in that role, who will retire effective Dec. 31.
