The British Broadcasting Corp., London hired Aviva Life & Pensions U.K. to operate its defined contribution plan.
The plan is run under a group personal pension plan arrangement and is known as LifePlan.
The plan is predominantly for participants that joined the BBC after Nov. 30, 2010, but is also available to employees that joined before then. However, a notice filed with European procurement website Tenders Electronic Daily said these participants would usually be enrolled in the company's defined benefit arrangement.
Aviva will select and manage strategies and provide a portal for participants to manage their savings.
The contract runs for five years, with two one-year extension options.
A search was launched in December 2016.
Spokesmen were not immediately available to comment. Details on the size of the plan and previous providers were not immediately available.
