El Paso (Texas) Firemen & Policemen's Pension Fund committed $8 million total to buyout fund Ridgemont Equity Partners III, said Tyler C. Grossman, executive director of the $1.25 billion pension fund, in an email.
The pension fund previously committed $9 million to predecessor fund Ridgemont Equity Partners II in 2015.
The pension fund private equity target is 10%. The current allocation is between 6% and 7%.
