Tacoma, Wash., is searching for an investment consultant for its $436 million 457 plan, said an RFP posted on the city's purchasing website.
The city has issued the RFP because the contract of current consultant Hyas Group is expiring Dec. 31. Whether the firm is eligible to rebid could not be immediately learned.
The RFP is available on the city's purchasing website. Proposals are due at 11 a.m. PDT on Aug. 14. A recommendation by the deferred compensation committee is expected on Sept. 10, followed by City Council approval on Oct. 2.
Gary Buchanan, the city's human resources director, was not available to provide further information by press time.
