Ian Mackie, Brisbane-based head of strategic partnerships, Asia-Pacific, with LaSalle Investment Management, will retire in December after a 40-year career with the firm.
A LaSalle spokeswoman couldn't immediately provide details regarding the firm's plans to fill that role following Mr. Mackie's departure.
A LaSalle news release noted Mr. Mackie's contribution to building the firm's presence in the region, "recruiting staff and opening LaSalle offices in Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong and Shanghai."
Reached by telephone, Mr. Mackie said he has no firm plans beyond enjoying some free time in the new year. But he said he could eventually consider other roles in the industry, such as serving on boards or consulting.
