Network Rail is preparing to search for an administration services provider for its Network Rail CARE Pension Scheme and Network Rail DC Pension Scheme, both in Milton Keynes, England, ahead of a formal tender that will be released later in the year, according to a notice on European procurement website Tenders Electronic Daily.
As part of the preparations, the U.K. owner and infrastructure manager of the rail network is looking to conduct due diligence on potential providers. Network Rail plans to meet with administration providers in September before the official tender is released.
Organizations interested in attending this meeting should register by providing the company name and address along with contact details to procurement manager Anne Haedicke by email.
Companies must register by 5 p.m. British Summer Time on Aug. 9. The asset sizes of the retirement plans and information on a current provider could not be learned.
