Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency Retirement System, Boston, is searching for an emerging markets equity manager to run $7.5 million.
Meketa Investment Group, investment consultant to the $148 million defined benefit plan, is assisting with the search.
A copy of the RFP is posted on Meketa's website. Proposals will be due by 3 p.m. EDT on July 25. A selection date was not disclosed.
The system has 10.5% allocated to emerging markets equity, according to pension plan documents. Its current emerging markets managers are Dimensional Fund Advisors , LMCG Investments and KB Investors.
Further information could not be learned. Joseph M. Petty, executive secretary of the pension fund, and Steve MacLellan, vice president at Meketa Investment Group, could not be immediately reached for comment.
