Brighthouse Financial Inc., Charlotte, N.C., hired Milliman as record keeper of one of its 401(k) plans, the life insurance and annuity provider disclosed in an 8-K filing on June 29.
Milliman will replace Alight Solutions effective Aug. 1. A blackout period for participants will begin on July 26 and end no later than Aug. 17.
Brighthouse Financial spun off from MetLife Inc. in 2017 and includes the MetLife subsidiary New England Life Insurance Co.
As of Dec. 31, 2016, the New England Life Insurance Company Agents' Retirement Plan and Trust had $152 million in assets, according to the plan's most recent Form 5500 filing.
