Simmons First National Corp., Pine Bluff, Ark., hired Transamerica Retirement Solutions as record keeper of its 401(k) plan, the bank disclosed in an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday.
Transamerica will replace Empower Retirement. A blackout period for participants will begin at 4 p.m. CDT on Aug. 1 and end during the week of Aug. 26. A reason for the change was not provided.
As of Dec. 31, 2016, the Simmons First National Corp. 401(k) Plan had $152 million in assets, according to the company's most recent Form 5500 filing.
