Anna Shelley has been appointed chief investment officer of A$9.3 billion ($6.9 billion) Catholic Super, Melbourne, Australia.
Ms. Shelley will replace Garrie Lette, who in February announced plans to step down after eight years heading up the superannuation fund's investments.
Ms. Shelley will focus on asset allocation, equities and alternative assets, among other responsibilities, said a news release from CSF Pty. Ltd., the master trust that operates Catholic Super and MyLife MySuper.
Ms. Shelley was general manager, product and strategy at Perpetual Investments. A Perpetual spokeswoman said Ms. Shelley left the firm last year and there was no direct replacement; her responsibilities were taken on by other colleagues.
