Phoenix Employees' Deferred Compensation Board has reissued an RFP for an investment consultant, said Yolanda Briseno, the board's program coordinator.
The board, which oversees the city's 401(a) and 457 plans with a combined $2 billion in assets, originally issued an RFP in February because current consultant Hyas Group's contract is due to expire Aug. 31. The firm is invited to rebid.
Ms. Briseno referred questions to a cancellation notice posted on the city's website stating "the best practices for receipt of Best and Final Offer and scoring did not occur" and the RFP would need to be reissued. She would not provide further information.
The RFP is available on the city's procurement website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. MST on July 11. Finalist interviews are scheduled for the week of Aug. 13 or week of Aug. 20, with a decision expected shortly thereafter.
