Norbert Hoogers was named CEO of Dutch money manager MN, a spokesman said.
Mr. Hoogers will replace Rene van de Kieft, who will leave in mid-July. "Mr. van de Kieft has chosen to pursue a personal project that offers more direct impact on his social ambitions," the spokesman added. The appointment is pending the authorization process of Dutch regulator Authority for the Financial Markets, he said.
MN manages €130 billion ($152 billion) for a number of Dutch pension funds.
Mr. Hoogers will join from health insurance firm Zilveren Kruis, where he has been chairman since July 2013.
