Samantha Rosenstock was named sector head of relative value and private markets by hedge funds-of-funds manager Man FRM.
In this new position, Ms. Rosenstock reports to Jens Foehrenbach, Man FRM's chief investment officer, spokesman Jake Malowitz confirmed in an email.
Ms. Rosenstock "brings valuable knowledge not only in hedge fund and quantitative investment strategies but across the liquidity spectrum in private equity, private credit and real asset investments," Mr. Foehrenbach said in a news release.
Ms. Rosenstock was head of alternative investments in the New Jersey Division of Investment, Trenton, which manages the $76.8 billion New Jersey Pension Fund.
Jennifer Sciortino, a spokeswoman for the New Jersey Treasury Department, which oversees investment of the pension fund, said in an email that officials hope to complete a search for Ms. Rosenstock's replacement soon.
Man FRM managed $17.5 billion in hedge funds of funds and customized hedge fund portfolios as of March 31.
