Dorset County Pension Fund, Dorchester, England, is looking to allocate £650 million ($871 million) to private markets, according to pension investment committee documents published Thursday.
The proposed allocation includes a £350 million investment in property, £150 million in infrastructure and £150 million in private equity.
Dorset County Pension Fund had 8.8% allocated to property, 3.6% infrastructure and 2.8% private equity as of March 31, 2017. The £2.7 billion pension fund said it will make the investment through the £27 billion Brunel Pension Partnership.
