Scott Steele joined Janus Henderson Investors in Singapore as the firm's head of Asia distribution, the company announced Thursday.
Mr. Steele replaces Alexander Henderson in that role. A Janus Henderson news release said Mr. Henderson is returning to London. A spokesman for Janus Henderson couldn't immediately say what role Mr. Henderson will be taking on there.
Mr. Steele comes to Janus Henderson from Pacific Investment Management Co., where he served as an executive vice president, head of Hong Kong and Singapore global wealth management.
PIMCO confirmed Mr. Steele's departure in an emailed statement and said Todd Staley, the head of Hong Kong institutional and Taiwan, has taken up Mr. Steele's role as head of global wealth management for Hong Kong and Singapore.
Haining Yin, executive vice president who has served as PIMCO's Hong Kong-based head of China, will lead the firm's Greater China team, overseeing the firm's Hong Kong institutional and Taiwan teams in addition to its China team.
