Lindsay Wright, BNY Mellon Investment Management's head of distribution and co-head of investment management for Asia-Pacific, is leaving the firm to pursue other opportunities, according to a statement Wednesday by BNY Mellon.
Ms. Wright, who took on those roles in June 2016, will remain with the firm through Aug. 31, said a spokeswoman. The statement provided no information on Ms. Wright's next move. Ms. Wright couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
The spokeswoman said no decision has been announced yet as to whether Ms. Wright's co-head of investment management role will be filled.
The statement said Matt Oomen, global head of distribution; Doni Shamsuddin, co-head of Asia-Pacific; and Shogo Yamaguchi, chairman and president, Japan, "will continue to drive our business in the region."
