Glynn County Defined Benefit Pension Plan, Brunswick, Ga., is searching for an investment manager and trustee, said Orah Reed, the county's human resources manager.
The $98 million pension fund issued an RFP because the contracts of current manager Marshwinds Advisory and current trustee Synovus Trust are expiring on Dec. 31, according to Ms. Reed. Both firms are eligible to rebid. The pension administration committee sets the asset allocation for the investment manager.
The RFP is available on the county's website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT on July 17. A selection is expected sometime in November.
