Abraham Tiamiyu will lead a new in-house secondaries team at APG Asset Management, a spokeswoman said.
The team is based in New York.
Mr. Tiamiyu has been a member of APG's in-house investments team for five years.
He reports to Greg Jania, head of fund investments.

APG AM also hired William Wang as a member of the secondaries team; he was an associate at Willowridge Partners. Spokesmen could not immediately be reached for comment.
APG AM runs €475 billion ($559 billion) in assets under management.
