Maria Cantillon was named head of sector solutions for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at State Street Corp.
She replaced Joerg Ambrosius who has accepted another role internally, a spokesman said. Details on Mr. Ambrosius' new role have not yet been released.
Ms. Cantillon reports to Liz Nolan, CEO of EMEA at State Street. She leads and drives the sales strategy for prospects and clients in the region, a news release said.
"I'm confident that (Ms. Cantillon's) tremendous sales instinct and vast experience will help us build on our successful sales platform, drive new opportunities in the region and continue to deliver tailored solutions to our clients," Ms. Nolan said in the release.
Ms. Cantillon was global head of alternative asset manager solutions at the firm. The spokesman said details on a replacement will be announced shortly.
State Street Corp. has $33 trillion in assets under custody and administration and $2.7 trillion in assets under management.
