Jack Boyce was named head of distribution for North America at Insight Investment, spokeswoman Amanda Williams confirmed in an email.
The position is new. Mr. Boyce will be responsible for managing client relationships and the company's marketing, product, client service and business development efforts across North America. He will also become a member of the firm's U.S. management committee.
He will be based in New York and report to Angus Woolhouse, global head of distribution.
Mr. Boyce was head of U.S. distribution at Aberdeen Standard Investments. Aberdeen Standard spokesman James Thorneley could not be immediately reached for comment.
Insight Investment has $837 billion in assets under management.
