Rune Sanbeck was named head of international advisory services for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Nuveen, confirmed a spokeswoman.
The position is new, and Mr. Sanbeck is based in London. Reporting to John Panagakis, global head of international advisory services, Mr. Sanbeck leads the firm's distribution strategy for EMEA clients. The spokeswoman said Nuveen's EMEA assets under management is $50 billion. Strategies cover U.S. and global equity, fixed income, real assets and alternatives.
Mr. Sanbeck had been head of institutional sales and marketing for EMEA at Dimensional Fund Advisors. A spokesman for Dimensional declined to comment.
