Shawn Cohen was named institutional director at Schroders in Canada.
The position is new, a Schroders spokeswoman said. Mr. Cohen will oversee defined contribution sales and thought leadership with Canadian record keepers and administrators. He will report to Ross Servick, head of Canada.
Schroders managed C$8.5 billion ($6.8 billion) in Canadian assets, including C$511 million in defined contributions assets, both as of Dec. 31.
Mr. Cohen was director of relationship management at MFS Investment Management Canada. An MFS spokesman said the company would not comment about a replacement for Mr. Cohen.
