Brent Morris joined Clarion Partners as a managing director, a new position, in the real estate firm's client capital management group, said spokeswoman Caroline Emerson in an email.
Mr. Morris will focus on U.S. institutional distribution of Clarion investment strategies. He had been head of capital raising at real estate money manager True North Management Group. Neither Richard Gunthel nor Girard Tunney, both True North principals, could be reached for information on Mr. Morris' replacement.
Clarion Partners has $45.6 billion in assets under management.
