Falmouth (Mass.) Retirement System is searching for U.S. small-cap core equity, midcap core equity and real estate managers.
The $141 million pension fund is looking to allocate about $20 million to an active U.S. small-cap core equity strategy, $18 million to an active U.S. midcap core equity strategy, $6.5 million to an income-oriented real estate fund and up to $5 million to a value-added real estate strategy.
Wainwright Investment Counsel, investment consultant for the pension plan, is assisting with the searches.
The two domestic equity strategy searches were originally issued in early April and are being reissued because the board "would like to obtain a greater number of respondents," said Jeff Fabrizio, director of research at Wainwright, in an email. The current small-cap manager is EARNEST Partners, and the midcap managers are Seizert Capital Partners and LMCG Investments. They are invited to rebid.
The RFPs are available on Wainwright's website. Proposals for all searches are due by 2 p.m. EDT June 22. Selection dates were not disclosed.
Mr. Fabrizio did not disclose additional details. Francis St. Germaine, administrator for the pension fund, could not be reached.
