Jerry Ehlinger has been promoted to senior managing director of real estate firm Heitman's global real estate securities group, spokeswoman Margot Olcay said in an email.
He will lead its global real estate securities business, which had $4.9 billion in assets under management as of March 31.
Mr. Ehlinger replaces Kathy Sandstrom, who is stepping down to relocate to Florida with her family in time for the start of the school year. Ms. Sandstrom will continue to serve as an adviser to the securities business leadership team.
Mr. Ehlinger was a managing director, real estate public securities. Information on how his prior role will be filled could not be learned by press time.
