Denise Pearman was named director of institutional sales at Argent Capital Management, a spokesman said.
She joined the company on May 15 and is based in Denver. The spokesman said the position had been open for several years and did not have the name of her predecessor.
Ms. Pearman was previously managing director of institutional distribution at Victory Capital Management. Victory Capital spokeswoman Tricia Ross could not be immediately reached for further information.
Argent Capital Management is an long-only equity manager that has about $3 billion in assets under management.
