James Santi joined J.P. Morgan Asset Management's Asia-Pacific real estate unit in Sydney as executive director and acquisitions officer, Australia and New Zealand.
The position is new. He leads origination, underwriting, due diligence and transaction execution of real estate acquisitions in Australia and New Zealand, according to a news release.
Mr. Santi comes to the firm from CBRE, where he served as senior director of capital markets, leading the firm's industrial and logistics investment sales platform for the state of New South Wales in Australia.
Andrew Peck, a Hong Kong-based spokesman for CBRE, couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
