G. David MacEwan, senior vice president and co-chief investment officer of American Century Investments, will retire at the end of the year, a news release said.
Upon his retirement, Victor Zhang, senior vice president and co-CIO, will become American Century's sole CIO. Messrs. MacEwan and Zhang have shared the CIO position since 2014.
American Century Investments had $173 billion in assets under management as of May 10.
