Josefa Llinares was named managing director at CVC Credit Partners.
Ms. Llinares is responsible for sourcing investment opportunities across the credit manager's platform and is based in London, said a news release. It is a new position, a spokeswoman said.
"She brings nearly 20 years' experience and a stellar network to the platform, both of which will be invaluable to us as we continue to invest in credits across Europe," said Mark DeNatale, partner and global head of special situations at the firm, in the release.
CVC Credit Partners has $18.7 billion in assets under management.
Ms. Llinares was previously a sourcing consultant at Triton Partners.
A spokesman for Triton Partners could not immediately be reached for comment on a replacement.
