Santa Clara County, San Jose, Calif., hired Innovest Portfolio Solutions as investment consultant of its $2.1 billion 457 plan, said Richard Simon, human resources analyst for the county, in an email.
The county issued an RFP in September 2017 because of a county policy to allow contracts only to run up to five years before being put up for bid.
Incumbent consultant SageView Advisory Group was a finalist along with Hyas Group and NFP Retirement.
