Los Angeles Fire & Police Pensions rehired incumbent Segal Consulting as its consulting actuary, said Raymond P. Ciranna, general manager, in an email.
Segal was selected following an RFP launched on Jan. 4. Segal will provide actuarial consulting services for a three-year term and actuarial audit services. Pension executives launched the search because Segal's current contract was set to expire on June 30.
Other finalists were Cheiron; Gabriel, Roeder, Smith; and Milliman.
