Los Angeles Fire & Police Pensions renewed Frontier Capital Management's contract to manage a $480 million active domestic small-cap growth equity portfolio, said Tom Lopez, chief investment officer of the $22.2 billion pension fund.
The pension fund renewed Frontier's contract for three years ending in June 2021.
Separately, pension fund officials plan to commit $550 million to private equity in 2018, according to a report to the board by private equity consultant Portfolio Advisors. LAFPP has a 12% private equity allocation.
