Texas Employees Retirement System, Austin, made two new private infrastructure commitments totaling $165 million, said Aris Oglesby, operational due diligence analyst, in an email.
The $29.2 billion pension fund committed $100 million to Digital Colony Partners, managed through a joint venture between Digital Bridge Holdings and Colony NorthStar, and $65 million to Ardian Americas Infrastructure Fund IV.
As of Feb. 28, the allocation to private infrastructure was 1.9%.
Also, the pension fund made a follow-on commitment of $50 million to ERS Private Equity International Fund II, a private equity fund of funds managed by Pavilion Alternatives Group. The pension fund originally committed $300 million to the fund in 2014.
As of Feb. 28, the allocation to private equity was 12.7%.
