Clayton County Public Employees' Retirement System, Jonesboro, Ga., is searching for an investment consultant, said Debbie Decker, pension manager.
The $412 million pension fund issued an RFP because it has been several years since the services have been put up for bid, Ms. Decker said. The current consultant, Morgan Stanley Peachtree City, is eligible to rebid.
As of June 30, 2017, the pension fund's asset allocation was 72.2% equities, 26.9% fixed income, and 0.9% cash and cash equivalents.
The RFP is available on the county's website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EDT on May 22. Finalist interviews, if required, are scheduled to take place May 29-31. A timeline for a hiring decision has yet to be determined.
