Massachusetts Port Authority Employees' Retirement System, East Boston, is searching for an international equity managers to run about $100 million total.
Wilshire Associates, investment consultant for the $639 million pension fund, is assisting with the search. The current managers could not be learned by press time.
Proposed strategies must be benchmarked to the MSCI ACWI ex-U.S. index in order to be considered, according to the RFP. Commingled funds and separately managed accounts will both be considered.
Managers submitting bids must have at least $50 billion in total assets under management, at least $3 billion in total strategy assets and have a minimum performance track record of five year as of Dec. 31.
The RFP is available on the pension fund's website. Registration is required.
Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EDT June 1. Finalists are expected to make their presentations to the board on July 17.
