Southern Maryland Cooperative Purchasing Committee is conducting a search for record keepers for the 403(b) plans of two local public school districts, said an RFP posted on the state's procurement website.
The committee is searching for record keepers for the $70 million 403(b) plan of the Charles County Public Schools, La Plata, Md., and the $35 million 403(b) plan of the St. Mary's County Public Schools, Leonardtown, Md. The committee might hire a single record keeper to administer both plans or hire separate record keepers for the plans.
The RFP is available on the state of Maryland's procurement website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EDT on June 28. A timeline for a decision was not provided.
Nelson E. Sample, procurement manager, would not provide information on the current record keepers or whether they are invited to rebid.
