Marc Brookman was named deputy CEO, North America, at Schroders, spokeswoman Katherine Segura confirmed in an email.
The position is new. Effective July 1, Mr. Brookman will manage all distribution, client service, product management and marketing responsibilities for the region. He will be based in New York and report to Karl Dasher, CEO, North America and co-head of fixed income.
Mr. Brookman was head of Graystone Consulting at Morgan Stanley. His responsibilities will be assumed by James J. Tracy, managing director at Morgan Stanley and chief operating officer of distribution and development, wealth management in the U.S., a Graystone spokeswoman confirmed. Mr. Tracy will continue in his current responsibilities, in addition to leading the consulting business.
Schroders had $604.7 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
