Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation, Mt. Pleasant, Mich., is searching for money managers for its endowment funds, said Amanda Schafer, executive director.
The foundation, which oversees $20 million in endowment funds, issued the RFP because of its policy to put services up for bid every five to seven years.
Incumbent managers Fund Evaluation Group and Financial Counselors Inc. are invited to rebid. Ms. Schafer said the foundation is not necessarily looking for two managers; the number will depend on the bids received.
The RFP is available on the foundation's website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on June 4. A selection by the board of trustees is scheduled for Oct. 25.
