Jeffery Acheson was named president of the National Association of Plan Advisors, the organization announced in a news release Wednesday.
Mr. Acheson, who will serve as NAPA's 2018-2019 president, replaces Paul D'Aiutolo, who will become an ex-officio member of the advocacy group's leadership council.
Mr. Acheson has advised and educated clients for nearly 40 years, according to the release. In 2017, he founded Advanced Strategies Group LLC, "where he delivers a fiduciary-based business model focusing on high-income individuals, high-net-worth families, successful companies, midsize retirement plan sponsors and charitable organizations," the release said.
Prior to Advanced Strategies Group, Mr. Acheson led the advisory services team at Corporate & Endowment Solutions Inc.
