Nichols College, Dudley, Mass, hired TIAA-CREF as sole record keeper of its $35 million 403(b) plan, confirmed college spokeswoman Lorraine U. Martinelle in an email.
The hiring was a result of a review of Nichol's retirement plan by its retirement plan consultant, Aegis Retirement Partners. TIAA and Nationwide Financial were previously both record keepers for the plan.
Aegis will conduct on-site education for participants, while TIAA will provide participants with a consolidated view of their retirement savings since all plan assets are now held with one record keeper.
