Matthew Considine, director of investments at the Vermont state Treasurer's Office, will resign, he confirmed in an email.
Effective May 15, Mr. Considine said he will leave the Montpelier-based office to "pursue other interests and opportunities."
The details of appointing a successor are currently being worked out, confirmed Katie Green, investments manager. She added that there has been no mention of using an executive recruiting firm.
The treasurer's office oversees the Vermont Pension Investment Committee, Montpelier, which in turn oversees the investment management of the $4 billion Vermont State Retirement Systems.
