Contra Costa County Employees' Retirement Association, Concord, Calif., is searching for a custodian, CEO Gail Strohl said in an email.
The $8.3 billion pension fund issued the RFP to make sure the services are the most effective and cost-efficient, Ms. Strohl said. Current custodian State Street Corp. is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. PDT on May 25. A decision is expected on Aug. 22.
