Santa Cruz County, Calif., is searching for a third-party administrator for its $174 million 457 plan, said Vincent Galindo, senior consultant at Hyas Group, the plan's investment consultant, in an email.
The county is seeking proposals from firms that provide "retirement plan administration, record keeping, education, communications, and investment-related services," according to the RFP.
The current record keeper is ICMA-RC. The firm is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available at the county's purchasing website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. PDT on May 2. Finalist interviews are scheduled for July 11, with a decision expected shortly thereafter.
