Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ, Framingham, has moved its $10 million in endowment assets into the United Church Funds Beyond Fossil Fuels Balanced Fund.
"We invest 100% with United Church Funds," Dawn Hammond, associate conference minister for policy and finance at MACUCC, said.
The Beyond Fossil Fuels Balanced Fund is a global equity fund that does not invest in any fossil fuel companies.
MACUCC had allocated a part of its assets to the Beyond Fossil Fuels fund as a seed investor three years ago. The size of that investment, and the other funds in which MACUCC previously invested, was not immediately available.
