Kathy Bourque was named director of the $94 million Registrar of Voters Employees' Retirement System, Jennings, La., said Lorraine Dees, the current director.
Ms. Bourque will become director of ROVERS on May 1, the day after Ms. Dees' retirement. Ms. Dees has been director of the pension fund since 1988.
Ms. Bourque was previously director of the $2.2 billion Louisiana Municipal Police Employees Retirement System, Baton Rouge. She left that pension fund in 2017 after the hiring in July of Benjamin Huxen II as executive director/general counsel, a new position.
