Mark Hamilton was named chief investment officer at Hirtle Callaghan & Co., spokesman Shree Dhond confirmed.
The position is new. Mr. Hamilton will be responsible for Hirtle Callaghan's entire investment program and will chair the investment policy committee. He will report to CEO Ranji Nagaswami.
Mr. Hamilton was CIO of asset allocation for OppenheimerFunds. Spokesman Paul Lussier said there are currently no plans to fill the position. His responsibilities are being assumed by other members of the team.
Hirtle Callaghan is an outsourced CIO firm with more than $20 billion in assets under supervision.
